Prism Alliance Icon Display - Opening Ceremony

The LCC Employee Prism Alliance is presenting a LGBTQ+ Icon display at the LCC Library during the month of April 2018. The display will consist of posters of LGBTQ+ icons along with biographical information. There will be an opening reception and presentation on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Library.

The LGBTQ+ community has so much to be proud of, and any month is an opportunity to celebrate our successes and those who have made, and continue to make, positive contributions to society.  Celebrating LGBTQ+ icons takes its history from LGBT History Month celebrations which are held in October to celebrate the achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individuals.
