Keeping Up with Your Professional Development

Teaching is a dynamic field. How can you keep up with the pace of research and get new teaching ideas? Learn about journals, books, and streaming video you have access to through LCC Library. Be alerted of new content in your field with Journal Search and Table of Contents Alerts, as well as Google Scholar and Google Search Alerts. Have a research project? Use RefWorks to manage your references, annotate documents, share collections, and create bibliographies. Learn about CTE and eLearning resources, as well as free webinars and blogs about teaching. Finally, discuss how you can share what you have learned with tools like Padlet and Storify.
